FWST Blog: Ellis re-worked contract details
Here’s the lowdown on the linebacker Greg Ellis’ restructed contract and his sudden return to health.
He will get an extra $500,000 added to his 2007 salary of $2.5 million. He also can earn up to an extra $1.5 million over the lifetime of the deal, which runs through 2009.
In addition, parts of his 2008 and 2009 salary were guaranteed in case he is injured this year.
So owner Jerry Jones did indeed show Ellis the money.
