DMN Blog: Wade notes

Here's what the coach had to say during today's press conference:

-- A couple of doubts first. Phillips said he "doubts" CB Anthony Henry will start and "doubts" WR Isaiah Stanback will play. Henry's participation, per Wade, was about the same as Wednesday, which means he was taking part when the defense went into its sub packages.

-- FB Oliver Hoyte, on the other, is set to go, according to the coach.

-- A low-profile guy up front, G Kyle Kosier, was given the team's offensive line award following Sunday's no-sack performance by the blockers. Phillips said Kosier's been "a smart player and a consistent player."

-- Phillips didn't expound much on how Tank Johnson will be used. But he was effusive when asked what his new NT brings to the table: "Quickness, he's got great quickness -- I'd say great. He's unusual quickness-wise. For his size, he's really quick, quick off the ball, quick penetrating, quick stunting, quick pass-rusher. That's what I see so far."
