Dallas got the Number 1 pick in the draft

Felix Jones may very well prove to be the best pick in the 2007 draft, over all of the rest- even his comrade Darren McFadden. And, that may be bad news for Marion Barber.

Because, if Felix Jones lives up to the scouting reports, and his stats in his attempts in college, before long, he will be very hard for the Cowboys to ask to stand on the sidelines.

Already, Felix Jones is showing that he doesn't have to be second to anyone- and that Al Davis may have paid for a Cadillac, but the Cowboys got the Ferrari- for the price of a Ford. And, Jones will almost certainly outproduce his Arkansas teamate for this next season, considering the Cowboys are ready for the Super Bowl; while the Raiders don't know if they can go .500.

With his 'smooth' running style, and his 'wow' factor, Felix Jones may have just opened up the offense for the Dallas Cowboys better than anyone else- even his predecessor Julius Jones, could have. Why? Because the rest of the NFL may never see him coming. McFadden got the attention; but Jones had the better yards per carry.

I have a good feeling about Felix Jones, and it's not just because he was our number one pick. It's because he is already impressing the coaches, after only one day, and he no longer stands in the shadow of Darren McFadden. Now, it's his time to do it; and unlike his counterpart with the Raiders, he actually has an organization and a team that can give him some support.

Tashard Choice, who compares to Marion Barber in his running style, gives the Cowboys a rookie tandem that very well may outshine the previous pair in all areas.

It's looking to be a great year to be a Cowboys fan.
