DMN Blog: Wade's mum on Pacman
by Albert Breer
Because of the nature of the game of football, coaches in general always try not to worry about the players who are not there -- for injury or other reasons -- and focus on those who are.
Today, Wade Phillips used that philosophy when addressing the subject of Pacman Jones. And anyone who wondered how the Cowboys would go about planning without "Adam" yet allowed to play got a succinct, if not direct, answer: They'll prepare as if they're going into the season with the guys they've got now.
"Until he's reinstated, I don't think we even need to go there," Phillips said. "Once that's done, then we'll comment on it."
Phillips repeated that a couple times when follow-up questions came. Owner/GM Jerry Jones was a little more willing to speak on the subject.
