One of the mainstays of the Dallas Cowboys offense has been tight end Jason Witten, a four-time Pro Bowler who caught 96 passes last year for more than eleven hundred yards. He said even on a team with so many stars, coach Wade Phillips is keeping the cowboys levelheaded.

"He tells us to check our egos at the door," Witten said. "Don't bring it in here. He's so easy-going, guys latch on to that and feed off of that."

"I think he's done a great job of everybody understanding what their role is. Everybopdy feels important, and the playmakers know they're going to get the ball."

"There are a lot of All-Star names, but we understand the team's got to be first."
