Romo practices, could play with broken pinkie

IRVING, Texas -- Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo practices and might play Sunday, despite a broken pinkie on his throwing hand.
"He looks promising," Cowboys owner Jerry Jones told the Dallas Morning News.
Romo threw lightly to his receivers Thursday before going through stretching exercises during the early portion of practice that was open to reporters. He talked to offensive coordinator Jason Garrett and coach Wade Phillips while stretching.
Romo, hurt on the first play of overtime in the Cowboys' 30-24 loss at Arizona last weekend, was expected to be out up to a month.
The Cowboys have said Brad Johnson would start Sunday in St. Louis. The 40-year-old backup's last start was in 2006 for Minnesota.
