Does anyone here think that there is a chance that someone in the Cowboys organization could talk Jake Plummer out of retirement to back-up Romo in 2009?
I personnally feel that it would be a pretty good opportunity for Jake, provided that he still has a bit of fire burning within him to play, and he would be a MAJOR upgrade over Brad 'check down' Johnson and Bollinger.
I know alot of you out there don't like Plummer, but he was also a mobile QB that had a nice deep ball, even though he at times forced the ball into bad plays like Romo. I'd sure feel better with him behind Romo than what we have, and most of the FA QB's that are out there.
Question is, do you think Jake Plummer could be talked out of retirement to back up Romo, and would it be a good idea?
