Congratulations on Keith Brookings - He'll be a steal

To all you Dallas fans who may have doubts about Keith Brookings coming on board next year, let me just say, I'm from Atlanta, I'm a GA Tech guy, and I'm mad as heck he's gone on to the Big "D".
On the other hand, I wanted to congratulate you guys, and let you know you got a steal when Keith signed with you.
Most people don't know it, but Keith went through three Defensive Coordinators/Defensive Schemes over the past three years in Atlanta, and he was moved all over the field from inside to outside, yet Keith still led the team in tackles.
I know some of you have made mention about him being only a 2-down LB, well, that's what they had him pegged as in Atlanta most recently.
However, if you looked at the playoff game against the Cards, there was one pass play where Keith was fronted with the Tight End, and a Wide Receiver or Running Back (I can't remember which it was) caught the pass and headed to the opposite side of the field from Keith. He was the one who ran down the play and made the tackle instead of the Safeties. Keith has a motor that won't quit.
Keith may have lost a step, but he already knows your defense, so he should be able to step right in and play well for you, help the young guys right off the bat, not miss assignments, and, frankly, if you need a good citizen to keep things focused in the locker room, Keith's a great guy to have on your side.
Keith may seem quiet at times, but you'll see him explode when you least expect it and need it the most, and he's a slober-knocker when he hits; maybe not a la Ray Lewis, but he'll put in his big licks as well. He'll also be able to help call the correct Defensive assignments for you.
Like I said, I'm ticked off the Falcons didn't work this out, and our loss is your gain.
Finally, all you nay-sayers need to remember the last time you doubted a GA Tech guy on your roster- Tashard Choice. I think he worked out much better than most of you expected then as well.
