The Cowboys and fourth-round pick Victor Butler have agreed to terms on a four-year deal that includes a signing bonus just shy of $500,000, the spokesman for San Antonio-based Momentum Sports told the Express-News.

"He's really happy and will be in town this weekend to get ready for training camp," said Momentum's Troy David Asmus.
Agent Jack Scharf negotiated the deal for Momentum, which also represents Chicago Bears guard Roberto Garza, a Valley native and Texas A&M-Kingsville alumnus.

Butler, a first-team All-Pac 10 choice for Oregon State last season as a defensive end, recorded 22.5 sacks the past two years, including 12 as a senior. He'll play outside linebacker for the Cowboys.

Butler is believed to be the first of the team's 12 draft picks that has agreed to terms. The Cowboys are scheduled to report to San Antonio for training camp on Tuesday. The first practice of the three-week camp is scheduled for 2:15 p.m. Wednesday at the Alamodome
