The Dallas Morning News reports that the Cowboys have stepped up contract extension talks with outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware.
Our View: The Cowboys and Ware hadn't discussed his contract since before training camp started and some big names have been locked up since that time (Terrell Suggs, Phillip Rivers, Eli Manning), so the Cowboys want to get their Pro Bowl defender signed as well. No agreement is set, but things are reportedly progressing in the right direction.
