Cowboys placed LB Dat Nguyen on injured reserve. Coach Bill Parcells said Nguyen is considering retirement. Nguyen, 30, shut it down after not being able to play through neck and knee injuries to his previously high standards. Scott Shanle and Ryan Fowler had been starting ahead of Nguyen the last four weeks.
