Dallas Cowboy Tony Romo gets some reps
08:04 PM CST on Friday, November 4, 2005By TODD ARCHER / The Dallas Morning NewsIRVING – Tony Romo finally made an appearance in a regular-season game, late in a win Oct. 9 over Philadelphia, but he still is waiting for his first pass attempt. With the Cowboys in their bye week, Romo and third-string quarterback Drew Henson got more work with the first-team offense than usual – and that was part of coach Bill Parcells' plan. Romo figured he gets between five and 10 snaps a week with the first-team offense, but he had about 20 or 30 this week. It also was Romo's first extended work with wide receiver Peerless Price. "I had him on a go and undershot him a little," Romo said. "It was nice to see him run a little bit."
