Owens eager to play with Cowboys

IRVING – Receiver Terrell Owens was easily the star attraction on the first day of the Cowboys’ mini camp on Friday.
Owens met with the media for the first time since signing with the Cowboys in March.
"I’m here with a great team, a great coach and a great owner ... once I get on the field, I’ll going to let my play do the talking," said Owens, who signed a three-year $25 million contract with the club in March.
The 10-year veteran was released by the Philadelphia Eagles this off-season after a tumultuous two-year relationship.
"I plan on being a better person and a better teammate," Owens said. "I’m looking forward to the season."
