Terrell Owens goes Off The Record

7/24/2006 6:16:47 PM

Terrell Owens has made some controversial comments before but he's never been Off The Record.

The Dallas Cowboys wide receiver will appear in an exclusive two-part interview on Off The Record with Michael Landsberg on Tuesday and Wednesday at 6pm et/3pm pt.

On Tuesday, Owens discusses his past two seasons in Philadelphia, where he solidified his status as one of the premier wide-outs in the National Football League. He also offers his definition of a 'team player', after reflecting on controversies that arose in a public feud with quarterback Donovan McNabb.

On Wednesday, Owens shifts his focus to the future after being released by Philadelphia and signed by the Dallas Cowboys this past March. Owens compares former teammate McNabb to new quarterback Drew Bledsoe, and outlines his anticipation for his return to Philadelphia on October 8, which he refers to as '10/8'.

"I'm looking forward to it," Owens said. "I need to try to to see if I can strike up a deal so we can get some pay-per-views so I can get some royalties off it because it will probably be the most watched football game in America."

Known for his creative, if somewhat controversial, touchdown celebrations, Owens also delves into his relationship with new head coach Bill Parcells.

The Next Question segments explore TO's lighter side, questioning Owens on the Hollywood star he would choose to portray himself on the silver screen, how many sit-ups he did during his impromptu driveway media conference, and just what exactly was Nicolette Sheridan wearing under her towel during the now famous Monday Night Football opening segment.

Tune in to TSN's Off The Record on Tuesday, July 25th and Wednesday 26th for the exclusive two-part interview with Terrell Owens. Encore presentations can be seen at 3am et/Midnight pt and Noon et/9am pt.
