NFC East Stuff and Cowboys stuff ---
JC Washington, DC: What did you think of the TJ Duckett part of that trade? IT makes the Redskins have one of the best backfields in the NFL.
Rodd Newhouse: JC - I like the Duckett trade. It give the Redskins and definite impact runing back. Portis is going to struggle a bit this season with that shoulder injury, and Duckett wil handle some of the tough yards to take a load off of Portis.
Duckett don't scare me one bit.

E (Philly): Good Afternoon Rod...I think that the addition of Duckett to the skins maybe the missing peace they needed. The only real question mark on the team is the QB position and with the addition Duckett they can run a system similar to the Steelers and only have to throw the ball 12-15 times a game, if they get and stay healthy. What is your take on this matter and as an Eagles fan how worried should I be?
Rodd Newhouse: OHH, my friend, E! First you lose the Super Bowl then T.O., now Duckett is in WAS! You better get worried my friend!
Yeah the Eagles and their crappy LB's should be worried, but the Cowboys have the tools on defense to stop the Skins.

Chip MO: When do you think the pi**ing contest between Owens and Parcells will end? Can TO still come in and be productive?
Rodd Newhouse: GREAT QUESTION!!!!
Honestly, I never thought a pi**ing contest was going on with T.O. and Parcells. Parcells is a media master. he could care less if T.O. plays this preseason, but he will NEVER say that publically. he just wants him to be ready for the season and win some games. The T.O. Parcells saga is ALL media hype. T.O. is a 10 yr vet. He will be ready.
Makes sense to me!

Sam (Los Angeles): How do you see Greg Ellis performing at OLB for the Cowboys this year? Can he and Ware combine for 20+ sacks? Thanks
Chuck Knox, Jr.: I think Ellis transition to OLB is going to be a big upside for the Cowboys, they now have two bookend DE that can rush the passer, if one gets matched up on a back look out
Chuck Knox, Jr.: No, not yet
Yes they will have 24 sacks. Ware with 14. Ellis with 10.
-------------
Chino (Bronx, NY): Which team will have the best defensive Ends? (Giants I hope!)
Chuck Knox, Jr.: The Giants have the best depth at end this year, the will create problems for teams
I say just let them rush upfield and then use delayed handoffs that go off tackle all day on them.
-------------
Chris (Giantsville): Hey Chuck, I see the Giants D-Line kinda like a Tootsie Pop, great and deep on the outside and soft in the middle. With that being said do you believe that Tim Lewis will go with 4 DE's on passing situations (Tuck, Strahan, Osi, and Nuki) like he has been flirting with or W. Joseph, F. Robbins, and co.? Also, what do you hear about them getting Buckner or someone else to shore up that line?
Chuck Knox, Jr.: I look for Lewis going to a 3-4 look on passing downs, it creates more protection problems for the offense to handle at times. You saw how effective Kiwanuka was rushing like a Lber vs KC, he ran over the back.
Kiwanuka will not run over Marion Barber III.
-------------
Matt (Philly, PA): Chuck - let's talk about the NFC East. Clearly it's going to be one of most competitive, if not best, divisions from top to bottom. how do you rank the teams?
Chuck Knox, Jr.: Good question. All the teams made improvements this offseason except Philly. Cowboys, Giants, with washington a close 2nd if they can stay healthy, Duckett helps.
Chuck knows...
------------
Tyrone (DC): Hi Chuck, C. Portis is great at picking up the blitz. Can TJ Duckette do the same? Skins can really exploit the DBs with Moss, Lloyd and Randle El.
Chuck Knox, Jr.: Duckett is going to called apon to pass protect, not one of his strengths. But with those 3 wr's you are rolling the dice if you come after them and you blitzs gets picked up.
Demarcus Ware is going send Duckett right into Brunell's face!
-------------
Ben (Denver): Why does everyone insist that Duckett is such a great fit. He doesn't run well in zone blocking, which is the scheme ATL ran, and what WA has gone to, to play to CP's strengths. Am I missing something ?
Chuck Knox, Jr.: Al Saunders will use Duckett in short yardage and goal line situations and to take some pounding off Portis's shoulder, it gives the Skins a solid veteran backup, look at Duckett's numbers in preseason compared to the other Skins RB's
Way to trade away a 3rd rounder for a short yardage back, lol.
--------------
John (Philly): Chuck, are you kidding me? The eagles strength at QB and depth on both lines will be enough to win the NFC east. The additions made through the draft and free agency on the defensive side. How can you say there were no improvements?
Chuck Knox, Jr.: They have no wr's, their top receivers last year where westbrook, injury waiting to happen and smith.
Yeah Chuck! Snapping on the Eagles fans! lol.
