Parcells shoots down Internet column...

Bill Parcells shot down an SI.com column by Mike Silver suggesting the coach gave one of his trainers an ultimatum to have Terrell Owens ready for yesterday's practice. Parcells delivered his (negative) view of Internet journalism and asked, "Why would I ever do that?" regarding his alleged conversation with Cowboys trainer Jim Maurer.
When I asked Maurer about the veracity of the column, he indicated that it was untrue.
Parcells mocked reporters for devoting so much attention to players who weren't practicing. He suggested they write stories about "what people are eating in the press box," which is a topic I hope to spend more time on this season.
