Cowboys only taking two guards to the game
TIDBIT: Roy Grassley, Catawissa, Pa.: With only three guards listed on the active roster, is that a misprint, and if so, who are the other guards?
Mickey: Well, yeah, you're right, and that's a little strange until you remember Bill Parcells considers Andre Gurode one of his backup guards. In fact, Parcells said on Thursday if he keeps only seven offensive linemen active on game day, which would mean no backup guard Cory Procter, then Gurode would be his backup guard and if one of the starters were injured, he'd move Gurode to guard and bring Al Johnson in at center.
