Cowboys signed QB Tony Romo to a two-year, $3.9 million contract through 2007

Cowboys signed QB Tony Romo to a two-year, $3.9 million contract through 2007. The deal includes a $2 million signing bonus.

It's a new contract, so Romo is now signed through 2007. It could be a steal of a deal for Dallas if Romo takes over as the team's starter during the 2006 or 2007 season, as many believe he will. Aug. 31 - 6:05 pm et
