The move of Greg Ellis to outside linebacker gives the defense added versatility; Ellis and DeMarcus Ware should be a force coming off the edge. The defense also has playmakers in the secondary with Terence Newman and Roy Williams. Drew Bledsoe has a number of weapons to use: Terry Glenn, T.O., Jason Witten and running backs Julius Jones and Marion Barber.
One of the biggest concerns is pass protection. Bledsoe was sacked 50 times last season, and he showed that wear and tear late in the year. If the Cowboys lose either Glenn or T.O., their backup wide receivers won't scare anyone.
The Cowboys should be the top team in the division; they have a lot of weapons on both sides of the ball. The offensive line is a concern and needs to give Bledsoe time to throw. Defenses might not take a chance on blitzing if Glenn and T.O. are healthy.
