Sundays Key Matchup

from Philly.com

The Cowboys' receiving tandem of Terrell Owensand Terry Glenn ranks among the best in the NFL. Glenn has more speed, although Owens is no slowpoke. And nobody in the NFL is more dangerous in the open field after making the catch than Owens.

While the Eagles will be offering help in coverage, the play of cornerbacks Lito Sheppardand Sheldon Brown against the Cowboys' receivers is crucial.

Sheppard hasn't played since opening day, when he suffered a sprained right ankle, but he is the Eagles' fastest starter. And speed will be needed against Glenn and Owens.

Brown and Sheppard both stand 5-foot-10, and a player with the size of the 6-3, 224-pound Owens will attempt to make the most of his size advantage.

Brown talked this week about switching things up, using press coverage on some plays, backing off on others.

The Eagles know that Owens will make catches, but they must tackle him almost immediately, or it could be a long day. And the Eagles cannot allow Glenn to use his great speed to get behind the defense.
