T.O. predicts a victory

Terrell Owens spent about 25 minutes today talking about his return to Philadelphia earlier this afternoon.

Wearing a gray T-shirt with the words "Fancy little football person" on the front, Terrell Owens talked about the magnitude of Sunday's game.

"When we win, it will be special," he said.

And in case you missed it, the shirt's a reference to something the union chief of the Dallas Police Association said about Owens after the player's publicist disputed an initial police report.

Earlier today, Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb said he sent Owens a text message regarding Sunday's game.

"I didn't get it." said Owens. "I didn't get it."

Owens said he wouldn't go out of his way to visit with McNabb prior to the game because he didn't want to create more of a story.

Asked what type of reception he was expecting, Owens said, "Not a good one...It'll be pretty bad. They might have to beef up the security."

He's already aware of some of the chants Eagles fans have been working on. Asked to name one, Owens said, "OD-OD-OD-OD"

Owens said he's still in touch with Eagles players Jeremiah Trotter, Rod Hood, Greg Lewis, Reno Mahe and Thomas Tapeh.

He said it will be impossible to tune out the fans Sunday, but that he's focused on helping his team win the game.

"We're not going there to eat the cheesesteak," Owens said. "We're not there to visit the crack in the Liberty Bell."

Much, much more to come.
