*If you had told me that the two top QB's in the league would be meeting this week and one was Tony Romo, I would have never believed that. Tony is playing really well.
*At 5-4 I'm not so sure Dallas isn't the second best team in the NFC. Maybe it's just me, but I think Dallas is about to take off. I think they will play well in this game and I wouldn't be surprised if they win it. This game would really allow them to go on a roll if they can win it.
*Peyton is phenomenal. I enjoy watching him. I also respect the fact that he has a great appreciation for the history of the game. I'm amazed at what he remembers back when I played. He asks me questions about specific games that I played.
*I get tired of the coach speak about stopping the run and run the ball. If Dallas stops the run this week and doesn't stop the pass, they will get beat by 50. I'm sure Mike Zimmer has been studying and knows you have to beat them with coverages. That's how teams have played with them this year. You can't give up the big play and you have to force them into 10-15 play drives and hope they don't convert on third down. You also have to have your own passing game working. To play the Colts you have to stop the pass and pass the ball.
*It's like when we were playing pretty well in the 90's, who are you gonna slow down. You stop Harrison and Clark steps up, or someone else. They are also good at RB with Addai. They are really talented at every position on offense.
I assure you that Peyton will know where the weak spots are with Dallas. He'll know their name, where they went to school and what their strengths and weaknesses are. I'm not kidding, he will know this.
*The defense has struggled a bit at times. I think Terrence Newman is one of the best players in the league. I have talked to several coaches and player personnel people that feel he is the best CB out there. I also think Henry is a very good player as is Glenn. I think they cover really well but their weakness is playing the ball in the air. They are all over the WR but make the wrong play on the ball. I would think that could be corrected, and should be.
*I think, in our lifetime, we will see a team go undefeated. It could be the Colts at some point.
Lots of bantering around and joking
