Parcells Press Conference 11/17/06

I don't expect Indy to be in 3 WR very often. We're ready for Stokley, but it doesn't sound like he'll play.

Do think Bob Sanders will play.

"Probably start Keith" at FS. ... Watkins will play.

Question about if Parcells remembers watching Archie Manning ... Parcells (who obviously thinks it's a dumb question) says he faced him in college, then says "he played for a team called the New Orleans Saints ... "

Got to watch out that you don't wear Davis out. He has a lot on his plate.

Davis is more like a strong safety than a free safety.

We play Roy a mixture of in the box, out of the box. Sometimes he'll be out of the box, then come up if he sees a certain key. He's doing OK in coverage. Went through a cycle, hopefully done with it now.

These guys pass the ball pretty effectively, so don't expect us to completely stop them from passing.

There's no "pass-run situations" with these guys. Manning calls what he sees.

Newman hasn't had a challenge like this one. Harrison is crafty. He has good communication, without saying anything, with Manning.

We don't have to try to figure out what Indy is going to do. We know what they're going to do, but they execute their offense very efficiently. They know what to do.

(Romo a "shot of energy" for Parcells?) Parcells says he's less than perfect, a day-to-day thing. It's exasperating. Hopefully by Sunday, he's ready to go. I'm happy he's had success, but if he keeps doing some of the things he's doing, it's going to bite him. I'd like to get to him before he gets bit.

Parcells: "You don't refer to Phil (Simms) as 'Phil Simms.' It's 'The Great Phil Simms.' "

"I gotta go, fellas."
