ARLINGTON - The new Dallas Cowboys stadium is beginning to rise above the horizon.

Crews have constructed a portion of the new venue’s mid-level concourse, which is the second story above ground level. The mid-level concourse does not extend around the circumference of the stadium, but is a smaller concourse in each corner of the building.

The organization is also making some design decisions on the venue, such as final plans for the major entrances, the color of the glass exterior, suite and restroom fronts, and what kind of handrails and seats will be used, construction manager Jack Hill said.

Workers are clearing out scaffolding on the field level to begin putting in utilities and masonry.

This week, crews will begin pouring the foundations for the giant arches on the east side of the stadium.
