Cowboys OLB Greg Ellis (Achilles' tendon) doesn't expect to participate in the team's first round of minicamps later this week.

Should get first-round pick Anthony Spencer, the man likely to take Ellis' job, some quality time at outside linebacker. Ellis is currently doing "rehab and some running" and shooting to be ready for training camp.
