Greg Ellis left Cowboys practice today, then was seen pointing to his leg afterwards

Is Greg Ellis hurt?

Linebacker Greg Ellis, who was cleared to practice after rehabbing a torn Achilles tendon in his left leg during the off-season, took himself out of some early drills and was later seen pointing toward his left leg while talking to the trainers. The Cowboys opened training camp Wednesday at the Alamodome in San Antonio.

Ellis underwent surgery on Nov. 14 of last season after rupturing his Achilles against Arizona. He missed the remainder of the season and spent the off-season rehabbing the injury.

If Ellis is injured, and there is no confirmation at this time that he is, it would be a severe blow to the Cowboys. The team's play on defense deteriorated in his absence last season.
