AC's bottom line: NFL Predictions, Week 3

The NFL regular season continued last week with several upsets, close games and last-second wins headlining the Monday morning newspapers.
The Cleveland Browns shocked the high-powered Bengals; the Texans and Packers both left the week undefeated; and the once-highly regarded Saints and Rams each lost their second of the season.
Still, despite the craziness that was Week 2, I managed to exit the proceedings with a 10-6 record, moving my two-week tally to 20-11.
This week, I'll attempt to improve upon my 64.5 percent accuracy mark.
As explained over the first two weeks, each game is shown in blue, with the "bottom line" appearing just below and the final prediction in bold.
• Miami Dolphins (0-2) at New York Jets (0-2)
The center of the Dolphins' offense, Ronnie Brown, has carried the ball 22 times this season for just 65 yards; don't expect Miami to win many games with that type of productivity. Jets, with an ailing Pennington, win one at home, 17-9.
• San Diego Chargers (1-1) at Green Bay Packers (2-0)
Green Bay is hot, at home and facing a Charger team that isn't the same as last year's 14-2 club. Favre and the Packers stun the Chargers, 24-20.
• San Francisco 49ers (2-0) at Pittsburgh Steelers (2-0)
Both teams are 2-0, but San Francisco is just four points away from being winless this season. Red-hot Steelers hand 49ers first loss of season, 24-16.
• Buffalo Bills (0-2) at New England Patriots (2-0)
Pick any cornerback on the Bills' roster; he's five inches shorter than Randy Moss. Brady & Co. have their way with the helpless Bills, 30-10.
• Minnesota Vikings (1-1) at Kansas City Chiefs (0-2)
Thanks to a long offseason holdout and a putrid Chiefs offense, the new "LJ" of the AFC West is seemingly LaMont Jordan, not Larry Johnson. Vikings 'D' again carries team to victory, 17-7.
• Detroit Lions (2-0) at Philadelphia Eagles (0-2)
In a week, Donovan McNabb went from being just a questionable quarterback, to a questionable and controversial quarterback. Lions win yet again under the coordination of Mike Martz, 24-10.
• St. Louis Rams (0-2) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-1)
Bucs coach Jon Gruden is instilling a confidence in running back Cadillac Williams that the Rams' shaky defense won't be able to stop. Tampa Bay wins second over disappointing Rams, 17-14.
• Arizona Cardinals (1-1) at Baltimore Ravens (1-1)
In a battle of former Miami Hurricanes standout running backs, I'll give the edge to Edge. James and the Cardinals win a close one, 20-19.
• Indianapolis Colts (2-0) at Houston Texans (2-0)
The Texans have beaten just the Chiefs and Panthers thus far, so it's a bit too early to pick them against the defending champs. Colts stay undefeated, Texans don't, 30-17.
• Jacksonville Jaguars (1-1) at Denver Broncos (2-0)
The Broncos are about three combined seconds from being 0-2, but, still, Jacksonville nearly lost to Atlanta last week. Unimpressive Broncos move to an impressive 3-0 in a 19-16 win.
• Cleveland Browns (1-1) at Oakland Raiders (0-2)
If the struggling Raiders are going to win one game this season, it'll be at home, against the Browns, in Week 3. Raiders slow down Cleveland in a 17-16 win.
• Cincinnati Bengals (1-1) at Seattle Seahawks (1-1)
Despite an atrocious defense, Cincinnati's offense still has the ability to single-handedly carry the team to victory. Seahawks put up points, but lose, 34-28.
• Carolina Panthers (1-1) at Atlanta Falcons (0-2)
Hosting a QB battle between Joey Harrington and Byron Leftwich is a sure way to guarantee a top-three pick in next year's draft. Panthers win second of season, 21-9.
• New York Giants (0-2) at Washington Redskins (2-0)
I'll say it right now: Jason Campbell is and will be a better NFL quarterback than Eli Manning. 'Skins win NFC East battle, 23-16.
• Dallas Cowboys (2-0) at Chicago Bears (1-1)
Tony Romo appears to be the real deal, while Rex Grossman takes one step closer to the bench with each loss. Cowboys keep perfect season going in 21-13 win over Bears.
Monday night:
• Tennessee Titans (1-1) at New Orleans Saints (0-2)
Vince Young has more rushing yards than Reggie Bush; that's a major problem for the struggling Saints. Titans take one on the road, 20-16.
• Last week's record: 10-6
• Last week's closest predicted score: Detroit 27, Minnesota 16 (Actual: 20-17)
• Season record: 20-11
