Romo, Cowboys try to beat Bears and maintain momentum

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) - Dallas quarterback Tony Romo's path to stardom seems as long as the 80 miles separating his hometown of Burlington, Wisconsin, from Chicago's Soldier Field.
Yet, Romo takes no time to reflect on his journey as the Cowboys prepare to face the Bears tomorrow night.
It's not his style.
The Pro Bowl quarterback who joined the Cowboys as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2003 says he prefers to look ahead at "new challenges and new goals."
Romo's immediate task is to maintain the momentum he and the unbeaten Cowboys have and beat the defending NFC champion Bears.
The Cowboys have 82 points - their most through two games since 1971 - after defeating the New York Giants 45-35 and Miami 37-20. And a win on Sunday would give Dallas its first 3-0 start since 1999.
The 1-1 Bears hope to get their offense in sync after sputtering the first two games.
