RUMOR: Tank Plans to Meet with Goodell?
NFL reports the Johnson plans to meet with Goodell soon to see where he stands. He's trying to get 2 games of the suspension lifted if possible is my take on that one! He also said he has a book of things to stay away from.
The 2-game reduction apparently is keyed to whether Tank met certain conditions, some related to the counseling he was to get. He wasn't driving drunk, so that shouldn't be held against him, and I would think it would be hard to penalize a guy just for driving 40 in a 25 mph zone (but who knows).
A lot could depend on Tank's demeanor -- does he seem contrite, does he sound sincere when he says he's learned his lesson -- and the reports of the counsellors.
I'm hoping Tank grades out well and can help out 2 games early.
