The Cowboys and Marion Barber reportedly haven't begun discussing a possible contract extension

Barber is scheduled for restricted free agency in 2008, so Dallas could slap him with the highest possible tender. That tag would bring back to the Cowboys a first- and third-round pick if another team signs him to an offer sheet. Other players Dallas may consider giving new deals to before next season are Tony Romo, Patrick Crayton, Terrell Owens, and Chris Canty.
