DMN Blog: Bills' Wilson about Wade: 'He quit!'
The Buffalo News' Jerry Sullivan, the columnist who penned the rip job after Jerry hired Wade Phillips, revisits Phillips' departure from Buffalo.
Bills owner Ralph Wilson, who can't stand Jerry, insists that Phillips basically quit by refusing to fire an "incompetent" special teams coach. Phillips figures that since he read in the papers that he was fired, he figured it must be true.
Phillips is downplaying coaching against the Bills, saying it's not about him, blah, blah, blah. But you just know he'd love nothing more to whup up on Wilson's team on national TV.
