DMN Blog: Reasons Romo's bad game is a good thing
I've thought long and hard about this between naps today and have come up with a few reasons Tony Romo's off night is a good thing for the Cowboys.
1. It's best-case scenario for Jerry. The Cowboys win and he doesn't have to answer questions after the game about when he'll get Romo's deal done. Jerry might have saved a few million bucks last night.
2. It proves the Cowboys aren't completely reliant on Romo to win. They can beat a terrible team even when Romo is awful for 90 percent of the night.
3. Wade Wilson actually has some work to do now that he's allowed back at Valley Ranch.
