Tony Romo Sets Good Records in Lousy Performance

While Tony Romo seemed to be trying to match his idol Brett Favre’s career interception record all in one game against the Bills last night, he has gotten off to the best start in Cowboys history. Nick Eatman:
While his night will be highlighted by the five interceptions, Romo did complete 29 of 50 passes for 309 yards and two touchdowns. And although the season is just five weeks old, Romo did become the first player in Cowboys history to have four 300-yard passing games in a season. He also became the first quarterback in club history to have three straight 300-yard games.
Considering that the Cowboys have been around 47 years and been quarterbacked by guys named Meredith, Staubach, and Aikman, it’s stunning that nobody has ever done this before.
