The Game of the unbeatens

defjef1982's SportingBlog

This is the game of the Millenium.........the century......the decade.....oh what the hell its a big game and its not even the Superbowl.Tom Brady and Randy Moss should really be able to exploit the Cowboys secondary. Terence Newman is healthy again and will probably be asked to shadow Moss for most of the game. The problem is on the other side, where Anthony Henry missed the Buffalo game because of a sprained ankle.

If Henry can't go against the Patriots, that means Jacques Reeves will get the start. Reeves was abused by the Giants' Plaxico Burress in Week 1, so expect a big game from Donte' Stallworth, who has had success against Dallas in the past.
The Cowboys must protect the ball better than they did last week. There is no way they can lose the turnover margin and come out with a win. That being said, quarterback Tony Romo can't be conservative against the Patriots. They must make big plays down the field against a secondary that is the weak link on a team that has few weaknesses.

Terrell Owens can make plays down field against the Patriots secondary. But the Cowboys must set things up with a commitment to the run and they must protect up front. Defensively, the Cowboys will try to stop an offense that has yet to be slowed all season. They have to stop the run and then prevent Tom Brady from connecting with Randy Moss deep.

This is the game of the week bar-none sparks will fly and when the smoke clears......
Cowboys 31
Pats 21
