Stanback's ready to go
Isaiah Stanback said today that his shoulder feels fine. He's ready to go against the Redskins.
"If there's a jersey in my locker," Stanback said, meaning he isn't sure whether he'll be active.
Stanback's ego has taken a pretty good pounding while his shoulder recovered the last couple weeks. His teammates have given him a hard time for hurting himself while running over Eagles kicker David Akers.
Stanback, a good-natured rookie who didn't take the ribbing seriously, did want to set the record straight. He said he was actually injured when someone landed on him after he lowered the boom on Akers. Not that a minor detail like that will deter his teammates.
