DMN Blog: Cowboys ink Curtis
by Albert Breer
The Cowboys announced the signing of TE Tony Curtis to his tender as an exclusive-rights free agent.
The signing was a formality, since Dallas had exclusive negotiating rights with Curtis. All three of his catches in 2007 went for touchdowns and by the end of the year, he splitting time with Anthony Fasano behind All-Pro Jason Witten at the position.
Curtis spent the 2005 season on the practice squad, and started 2006 there before joining the active roster in October of that season
