How will this season shake out for the Dallas Cowboys? Last year ended in a bitter disappointment with another playoff loss and the fingers of blame were pointing straight at Tony Romo sweetie Jessica Simpson from a whole lot of fans. Throughout the summer, Jessica and Tony have made it through multiple reports that they had split, and as training camp begins for the Dallas Cowboys, Tony still has Jessica at his side.

Will Simpson become the ultimate distraction or is all of the talk about Tony Romo's personal life and his play on the field just tabloid nonsense? Regardless, it won’t stop just because the Cowboys are on HBO's "Hard Knocks" and are ready for camp. In fact, don't be surprised if they seek out Jessica for an interview.

Us Weekly magazine has a report this week that notes that Jessica proclaimed to the audience at the Country Thunder USA music festival in Randall, Wisconsin, July 19. "I'm just a girl from Texas." She added, "I'm doing what I love and dating a boy." That boy, of course, is her football star boyfriend, Tony Romo, 28. Simpson even dedicated her performance of "You're My Sunday", a song off her country album (due in stores September 9), to the Dallas Cowboys quarterback.

Similar to Texas Stadium, the country crowd booed her at the beginning, she won them over - at one point, she got a standing ovation. The upbeat singer also praised Romo throughout her set: "Any man that is going to date me has to put up with a lot!" Will Cowboys fans welcome Jessica this season?
