Owner Jerry Jones confirmed Friday that Pacman Jones will be the Cowboys' starting left cornerback in Week 1

Terence Newman will only play on nickel downs if he's active. Jones was a strong coverman in Tennessee, but is a year removed from the game and struggled in camp. With him and Anthony Henry outside and rookie Orlando Scandrick the slot corner, the Browns' pass game looks better off for Sunday.
