Coach Wade Phillips is expected to return to Dallas in 2009 despite another disappointing loss Saturday to the Ravens, according to the Star-Telegram. When owner Jerry Jones was asked if Phillips' job is in jeopardy, Jones answered, "Absolutely not, absolutely not. I don't have any inclination as I stand here, after this ballgame, about any coaching changes. And I don't see coaching as an issue. And it's not that fragile. It's just not that fragile."
Our View: In fairness to Phillips, Tony Romo and Marion Barber were hindered by injuries and were facing one of the most imposing defenses in the NFL in Saturday's upset loss.
