Brian Stewart Won't Be Back Next Season

Defensive coordinator Brian Stewart will not return next season, the Cowboys announced late Friday afternoon.
Stewart served as defensive coordinator the past two seasons, originally coming from San Diego with head coach Wade Phillips. But Phillips took ownership of the play-calling after the Cowboys' embarrassing loss to St. Louis in October.
The Cowboys have made one other staff change since the season ended, firing special teams coach Bruce Read and replacing him with Joe DeCamillis.
