The Miami Herald reports that the Dolphins may be interested in acquiring Dallas wide receiver Miles Austin. The 6'3", 216-pound Austin caught 13 balls for 278 yards in 12 games last season, but nearly 120 of those yards came against Green Bay in Week 3.
Our View: Austin, 24, is still young enough to establish himself as a reliable second or third receiver in the NFL, but he battled injuries to two separate knee ligaments in 2008, so his health has to be a concern. The upside for Miami is that Austin would come cheap. Since he entered the league undrafted, the Dolphins would not be obligated to compensate Dallas with a draft choice in exchange for Austin.
