Anquan Boldin Could Be A Dallas Cowboy

Arizona Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt told ESPN today that the team will consider offers for No. 2 receiver Anquan Boldin.

Boldin is a receiver who would be the No. 1 guy on 85 percent of NFL teams, and the Cardinals may get a lot of bites for him.

The Dallas Cowboys may be a perfect suitor. Boldin has two years left on his contract with the Cardinals.

For some reason, Boldin wants out of a team that just went to the Super Bowl. He’s not happy in Arizona and it may be because Larry Fitzgerald is the main squeeze over there.

Maybe the Cowboys could trade Roy Williams to the Cardinals for Boldin? Sounds crazy? Not really. Boldin is surely worth the draft picks we lost to get Williams. Or maybe the Cowboys could send Greg Ellis, Miles Austin/Patrick Crayton and a pick or two the Cardinals way for Boldin.

It may be a stretch, knowing the Cowboys top goal is to sign DeMarcus Ware, but do not rule out Jerry Jones for coming up with some fancy-pantzy way to get Boldin.
