Drew Rosenhaus Tweets: Cardinals Will Trade Anquan Boldin

I still believe Anquan will be traded before training camp. I hope to work together with the Cardinals to resolve this situation by then.
Whether Rosenhaus is correct about the upcoming trade or not is something we'll just have to wait and see about, but there are a couple of more interesting elements to that tweet.
The first is that Boldin clearly still wants to leave the Cardinals. Obviously, Rosenhaus wouldn't be talking about -- or tweeting about -- a trade if his client wanted to stay put. So while the Cardinals have suggested that they're just going to hold onto Boldin despite his unhappiness with his contract, neither Boldin nor Rosenhaus is going to allow this situation to drop.
And the second is that Rosenhaus views Twitter as a valuable promotional tool, both for himself and for his clients. Rosenhaus tweeted for the first time during draft weekend, and since then he's provided a few dozen updates on his clients. Rosenhaus has become the most powerful agent in the NFL by making himself very visible to the public, and going forward, we can expect to see Twitter as a bit part of that promotional strategy. Expect other agents who aren't on Twitter now to get on Twitter soon.
