Greg Ellis' agent stated that his client would play for the Bengals, according to the Bengals' official team website. Ellis was released by the Cowboys today.
Our View: Ellis would be reunited with defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer in Cincinnati, as the pair previously worked together in Dallas. The Bengals are not believed to be interested in Ellis as of now, however. If they do pursue him, he could help their pass rush as he notched eight sacks in 2008.
