Pros: Jones flashed a ton of promising big-play ability during his injury-shortened rookie season, averaging a mind-blowing 8.9 yards per carry and scoring three times in six games. The offense is expected to be more ground-oriented this season. The versatile Jones is expected to receive a good share of touches as Dallas' No. 2 back because the Cowboys want to keep starting running back Marion Barber III fresh for the long haul.

Cons: Jones' size and style leave his susceptible to injury. He had season-ending toe surgery last year, and a hamstring injury kept him out of a handful games before that. Barber will probably receive the lion's share of the scoring opportunities. Dallas didn't use Jones in the passing game despite allusions to that possibility. No. 3 running back Tashard Choice made an impact late last season and could steal touches. Jones may end up in an unpredictable timeshare with Barber and Choice.

Fantasy tip: Jones has outstanding potential and makes an intriguing No. 3 back or flex option. Although Jones' average draft position falls at about the seventh round, you may have to target him earlier because some owners are ignoring the risks and fascinated with Jones' upside.
