Jones worked out with trainer Britt Brown in the early portion of practice, which was open to the media. Three sources said he later joined teammates in team drills and carried the ball several times. Coach Bill Parcells has said Jones will return to the lineup once he's recovered, even though rookie Marion Barber rushed for a combined 252 yards and two touchdowns in the three games he missed. Jones leads the team with 407 yards and three touchdowns.
