Coach Bill Parcells believes the first NFC East team to 11 wins will win the division
TIDBIT from Cowboyplus:
WHERE ARE THE WINS?
Bill Parcells believes the first NFC East team to 11 wins will win the division. Here's what lies ahead for the Cowboys.
Sunday vs. Kansas City
The Chiefs offense is averaging 34 points in its three-game win streak, and running back Larry Johnson has five consecutive 100-yard games. Defensively, Kansas City has allowed fewer than 20 points in three of the last four games.
Dec. 18 at Washington
This game won't be easy with the Redskins hanging around the wild-card chase, especially if Washington's Clinton Portis and Rock Cartwright can run the ball like they did against St. Louis.
Dec. 24 at Carolina
This is another poor matchup for the offensive line, with Carolina defensive end Julius Peppers lining up over right tackle Rob Petitti. Steve Smith leads the NFL in receiving yards (1,226) and is tied for the most catches (82).
Jan. 1 vs. St. Louis
This appears to be the easiest game, but St. Louis possesses a dangerous offense, even if rookie Ryan Fitzpatrick is running the show. The Rams could be playing out the string at this point, which would help the Cowboys' chances.
