Ex-Dallas Cowboy Peerless Price not happy about release
Price reeling from release: Peerless Price is so bitter about his release from the Cowboys that he has no interest in playing the final four weeks of the season. He's going to prepare for next year and get ready for free agency. Price, released by the Falcons this summer, thought he found a great situation with the Cowboys and signed a one-year, $1.8 million contract. Unfortunately, coach Bill Parcells wasn't as excited about the signing as Jerry Jones. Parcells wouldn't play Price. He said publicly he didn't know what to do with him. Price became the third promising Cowboys signing not to get much of a chance in Dallas. Eddie George thought he found a new home in Dallas last year and it ended up speeding up the end of his career. Anthony Thomas thought he could win the backup job in Dallas after signing a one-year, $1 million contract, but he lost out to rookie Marion Barber as the backup. Thomas is now with the Saints.
