NFC East. Bombs away!

PFW "Audibles"

"When you really look at that (Eagles) roster, they are just barely hanging on. It's nearly depleted. The offensive line is very average. The quarterback has lost his edge. They have one running back. Their linebackers are not very good. They are primed to finish fourth..."
Paul observes that the back-up runnng backs did ok against the Giants last season, going around their left side. :-)

"The Cowboys' defense keeps getting better. the receivers could be very good if TO doesn't implode. The secondary could be very good if they could find a way to stop man-covering roy Williams in the deep half."

"Washington has gotten better. There are not many holes on that roster. They are knocking on the door."

"The Giants have improved. The O-line is very well coached, like the Colts'. They have a good running back, good tight end. The D-line is salty enough to win with. The linebackers are solid. I don't know what their pro-director was thinking, bringing in all those used-up DB's. But if Coughlin doesn't wear down the team, they will be in contention."

Paul comments that "well coached like the Colts does not inspire confidence after the Colts meltdown in the playoffs. :-) "Good" might be damning with faint praise. "Salty?" And "used up backs" lends credence to the opinions of some on BBI. And the last throwaway line about Coughlin seems based more on reputation than the experience of the last two years, in terms of physical practices...
