Look for nose tackle Thomas Johnson, a Parcells favorite, to be released this afternoon. He'll be replaced by J'vonne Parker, a 323-pound nose tackle who spent much of last season on the Browns' practice squad.
If Johnson passes through waivers, I wouldn't be surprised if the Cowboys re-signed him to the practice squad.
Life on the fringe of the NFL is not glamorous.
